Marcus Iannozzi
Founder, Principal, and Creative Director
Marcus is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has nearly 20 years of experience in developing and implementing communications strategies and social marketing campaigns for the nonprofit sector. He has extensive expertise in Internet- and web-based communications, web design and development, graphic design, content development, and project management.
Marcus specializes in translating complex information and processes into usable messaging, content, formats, and print or electronic vehicles that reach targeted audiences. In addition to his training in communications and design, he is fully versed in the technical aspects of web development, including HTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, database applications, information architecture, usability, accessibility, security, and systems architecture. He has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations and is a local activist for civil rights and gender rights.
Aaron Bauman
Software Engineer
A graduate of Columbia University with a degree in computer science, Aaron has worked with nonprofit organizations his entire career as a developer. He has extensive experience integrating web applications across platforms, including Drupal, Salesforce, Get Active, Democracy in Action, and e-commerce applications.

Aaron Crosman
Software Engineer
After graduating from Hamilton College with a degree in computer science, Aaron spent 10 years working in IT and Communications for a large international nonprofit organization. He was an original member of the organization's web team and over time handled a wide variety of tasks including server administration, PHP programming, content development, content strategy, social media, fundraising, and crisis response. Aaron is passionate about helping organizations use the web and related technologies to further their mission.
Joshua Benner
Software Engineer (contract)
Josh is an experienced programmer with more than six years of professional experience under his belt. He has tackled projects that range from setting up a simple content management system to building and maintaining fully-integrated, multi-instance e-commerce solutions. As a developer, he has proven skilled at designing, planning, and implementing complex solutions, such as automated deployment systems, third-party service integrations, and domain-specific applications. Josh is known for his attention to detail and commitment to doing things right—qualities that have served both him and his clients well over the years.

Michael Ferry
Designer / Front-End Developer
Ferry is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia and specializes in user interface design, Flash, HTML, CSS, & Javascript. He has studied fine arts and is also an avid photographer. Before joining Message Agency in 2008, he worked as an interactive designer and developer at Gyro Worldwide Media.
Kirk Shimamoto
Information / Interaction Designer
Kirk is a graduate of Brown University with a degree in Cognitive Science. He joined us after working as an information architect for the startup Zecozi, where he was responsible for user interaction design and wireframing. His background in Cognitive Science informs his understanding of interaction models, Gestalt grouping, and the limits of human attention. He is a Balsamiq enthusiast and believes that wireframing is as sophisticated an art as visual design in communicating the structure and logic of how content is best organized and displayed.
David Kosbob
Site Builder
Kosbob is a graduate of Guilford College and a veteran of the non-profit sector with a background in art & arts-based community-building, and a focus on information technology. Having previously worked in web-based Communications on the client side, Kosbob brings in-depth experience with Drupal sites and an eye for quality assurance. He has a strong enthusiasm for usability and simple solutions. He also enjoys plentiful sunshine, tall mountains, and large bodies of water.

Project Manager
An employee of Message Agency since 2007, Angela manages projects and provides phone support and user training to clients, as well as quality control for the sites we develop.
